Signal Hill offers stunning panoramic views of Cape Town, Table Mountain, and the Atlantic Ocean and is best shot during sunrise or golden hour. It's easily accessible both in low and high season, however during high season (especially over December) please do allow extra time to arrive as the roads do get busy.

I have two locations on Signal Hill that I like shooting at and this will be advised closer to the day. We don't often shoot right at the top of Signal Hill due to seasonal traffic congestion.

Wardrobe tip - Closed and/or flat shoes are recommended for the dirt track

What to prepare - for family shoots, please do pack some water to drink during the summer months

Afternoon shoots at Signal Hill

Here are a few examples of an evening shoot at Signal Hill. You can also view more images on my portfolio pages, as I shoot here often.

During summer, afternoon shoots are fairly late to get that incredible African sunset and to avoid the heat of the day.

Morning Shoots at Signal Hill

Here are a few examples of a morning shoot at Signal Hill.

During summer morning shoots are an early start as it can get really bright and hot on the trails.

Signal Hill and Camps Bay are in close proximity so we are able to combine both locations.

Kindly allow up to 2 hours for the two location shoot.
