Noordhoek beach is my go to during the busy summer months when the main beaches become overcrowded. Stunning natural light, wide sandy spaces, and dramatic backdrops make this beach truly special.
A versatile location offering long white sandy beaches, views of Chapmans Peak drive, rocks for energetic climbers to play on and dunes to explore. Noordhoek is a fantastic location both during the morning in the afternoon.
Noordhoek is also the ideal location for big family groups and celebrations.
Location advice - I usually bring a spare bag for shoes, as we move around a bit to capture images along this beautiful beach. Pack light as there is a short walk from the carpark to the beach.
Parking is limited's during the summer months, allow some extra time to find parking.
The beach is located approximately 45 minutes drive from Cape Town's city centre and you may access a toll road, so plan your travel time accordingly.
What to prepare - for family shoots, please do pack some water to drink during the summer months and a change of clothing for children if they enjoy splashing in water.
